What Is Academic Research?

Academic research is research conducted solely under the responsibility of the principal investigator without any external sponsorship; in the case of drug clinical trials, it refers to trials the investigator conducts independently on the drug.

  • Follow-up consultation fee
  • Drug management and medication administration fees
  • Sample storage fee (freezer use)
  • CTC outpatient clinic room usage fee
  • One initial monitoring of study participants
Additional Support
(Phase I / Phase ½ only, from 2013.03.25)
  • Monitoring service: free monitoring for 20% of enrolled study participants
  • CTC research ward admission fee for intensive pharmacokinetic sampling and pharmacodynamic measurements (6-bed room rate)
※ However, an initial consultation fee applies for new patients / first visits (issuance of a new hospital registration number)
※ Any other fees incurred are borne by the study participant or the investigator.
