The Medical Research Collaborating Center strives to advance
medical research and elevate its quality.

Welcome to the Medical Research Collaborating Center (MRCC) of Seoul National University Hospital.

Amid a growing recognition of the importance of medical research and a rising number of studies, planning to establish the MRCC began in August 2003 to invigorate medical research and improve its quality. The organizational foundation was laid at Seoul National University Hospital and Seoul National University College of Medicine in March and June 2004, respectively, establishing the center as a medical research collaborating organization.

The MRCC is dedicated to invigorating medical research and enhancing its quality. Through research protocol development, statistical analysis, and the systematic management of research data, we provide high-quality research support. By fostering synergy between clinical and basic medicine and by collaborating directly with individual researchers to build a medical research infrastructure, we deliver high-quality, standardized research support.

We also provide practical support to researchers in need of research personnel and funding, inspiring their motivation and helping to nurture the next generation of leading researchers.

Through high-quality medical research, we will do our utmost to become a center that ultimately contributes to improving the standard of patient care.

Key Functions

The Medical Research Collaborating Center supports researchers throughout the entire research process. Centered on five core functions, we work with the basic and clinical departments of Seoul National University Hospital to build a standardized research support system.
