Role

The Data Innovation Center operates the data platform of the National Strategic Technology Research Institute to provide the data required for global collaborative research, and develops and validates medical artificial intelligence technologies that address the unmet needs of clinical practice.

Key Functions

Development and Operation of the Institute's Data Platform

· Development and operation of a platform for digital health data analysis and utilization
· Provision of data-based clinical validation and application services
· Development of SMART on FHIR technology and support for clinical application development

Building Data Pipelines and Providing Datasets

· Establishment of data-sharing pipelines with global data platforms such as MIT PhysioNet
· Real-time pseudonymization of medical data and development of dataset standardization technology
· Building and cataloging high-quality datasets for global collaborative research

Development of Medical Artificial Intelligence Technology

· Development and clinical application of multimodal medical AI models
· Development and utilization of generalist AI models to address the long tail problem across diverse clinical settings
· Big data-based AI model validation, with results summary reports and bias verification services

Review of and Support for Domestic and International Data Laws and Regulations

· Review of laws and regulations and expert support for data-based international collaborative research
· Data format standardization, compliance with international security standards, and consulting
