Distribution Guide
Human biospecimens preserved and managed by the SNUH Human Biobank are distributed for research purposes.
Only projects that have received approval from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) are eligible to apply for biospecimen distribution. When a distribution request is received, the Resource Utilization Committee of the SNUH Human Biobank reviews the research purpose, validity, and the current status of human bioresource management, among other factors, to determine whether to approve the application.

Preliminary Distribution Inquiry
A preliminary distribution inquiry is required to confirm the available diseases and biospecimen types.

Distribution Review and Resource Preparation
Biospecimens are prepared after review by the Human Biobank Operating Committee.
Resource Distribution (Actual Cost May Apply)
Applicant may be charged the actual costs with biospecimen distribution in accordance with the Human Biobank operating guidelines. Please contact us separately for details on costs.
