Brief Summary
My research focuses on the surgical treatment of gastric cancer, including minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, function-preserving gastrectomy, and tailored lymph node dissection. My main interests include defining the optimal indications for endoscopic versus surgical treatment in early gastric cancer, evaluating the feasibility of proximal gastrectomy for upper-third gastric cancer, and developing individualized lymphadenectomy strategies. I also investigate postoperative complications, long-term survival, quality of life, nutritional status, and metabolic outcomes after gastrectomy. Through large-scale clinical data and multicenter collaborations, my goal is to generate practical evidence that improves the safety, oncologic validity, and functional outcomes of gastric cancer surgery.
