Brief Summary
My primary clinical and research interests are interstitial lung diseases and lung transplantation. My research focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, disease progression, and prognostic assessment of various interstitial lung diseases, including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. I am particularly interested in clinical research aimed at developing new therapeutic strategies and advancing personalized approaches to patient care. In addition, I conduct research on the perioperative management and long-term outcomes of lung transplant recipients, with the goal of improving patient care and long-term survival.

Our group is deeply interested in understanding "how healthy and diseased lungs respond to various perturbations" at the molecular and cellular levels, and ultimately translating these insights into clinical practice.
To achieve this, we
(1) actively develop disease modeling tools and fine-tune them to address clinically relevant questions,
(2) manipulate these models at the molecular or genomic level, and
(3) evaluate changes using cutting-edge genomic tools.
