Brief Summary
My research focuses on developing and evaluating person-centered palliative care models for people with serious illnesses and their families. I study the early integration of palliative care across diverse clinical settings, including oncology, intensive care, neurology, and hematology, with an emphasis on care delivery models, healthcare utilization, advance care planning, clinical ethics, and health policy. My current research particularly focuses on ICU palliative care, home-based care for people with serious illness, optimization of end-of-life healthcare utilization, and ethical decision-making in serious illness.
