Brief Summary
Research Overview
Research focuses on elucidating the molecular and pathogenic mechanisms underlying intractable diseases, including aging, fibrosis, neurological disorders, and immune-related diseases, with the ultimate goal of developing next-generation therapeutic strategies that target the fundamental causes of disease. Leveraging gene-based approaches, particularly gene therapy, my research integrates advanced therapeutic modalities—including stem cells, peptides, exosomes, and mitochondria—with drug delivery system (DDS) platforms to develop innovative, mechanism-based therapies with enhanced precision and therapeutic efficacy
Research Vision
Research is inherently interdisciplinary, encompassing molecular biology, genetic engineering, biomedical engineering, and regenerative medicine, with a strong emphasis on translational research that bridges fundamental discoveries and clinical application. I pursue the development of advanced biopharmaceuticals—including gene therapies, cell therapies, and exosome-based therapeutics—through a comprehensive R&D framework spanning basic research, preclinical and clinical development, GMP-based manufacturing and quality assurance, and technology commercialization. Ultimately, my goal is to translate scientific discoveries into clinically meaningful therapies that improve patient outcomes while contributing to the advancement of regenerative medicine and the global biopharmaceutical industry.
