Medium & Large Animal Facility
Introduction
The Medium & Large Animal Facility is a husbandry facility for medium and large laboratory animals, comprising cats (1 room), dogs (2 rooms), pigs (1 room), goats (2 rooms), an inspection & quarantine room (1 room), and a recovery room (1 room). It houses Conventional-grade medium and large animals and is equipped with a variety of experimental spaces required for preclinical studies, including surgery rooms, an ICU, and an anatomy & physiology laboratory. A clean environment is maintained through regular environmental and microbiological monitoring, and a range of experimental technical support services is provided.
A constant temperature and humidity system maintains a stable environment year-round according to the standards below.
