Animal Study Protocol Review
Review Procedure
The SNUH-IACUC review of an animal study protocol is conducted online (Electronic Review System), and the review proceeds in the following order: Secretary → Specialist Reviewer Assignment → Full Committee VOTING → Chairperson Approval.
- For every revision request, the requested revisions must be completed before proceeding to the next stage.
- Regardless of the type or stage of review, when a revision is requested or an objection arises during review, the specialist reviewer records the minority opinion and then decides on approval, a revision request, or a re-vote by the full committee.
- ②′ Specialist Reviewer: The specialist reviewer of the previously approved protocol is given priority for selection.
· When revisions arise during the review stage, a notification is sent by email. To make the revisions, click the edit button in the system, review the contents, supplement the protocol and the system data, and then resubmit.
· A review-fee notice email is sent when a specialist reviewer is assigned, and a separate email is sent upon chairperson approval.
