The Department of Research and Experiment is located in the Medical Research Innovation Center (CMI) building and operates a variety of research spaces, including shared laboratories, shared equipment rooms, and cell culture rooms. This is a shared-use space that gathers the basic instruments needed for analysis and measurement, where researchers operate the equipment themselves to conduct experiments. Use of shared equipment is limited to those who are registered as CMI researchers and have completed the shared-equipment training for new researchers. For efficient operation, some equipment is managed through the [CMI Equipment Reservation System].

A space equipped with the environment and instruments to safely culture and store cells. Shared equipment may be used only by those who, after registering as CMI researchers, have completed the shared-equipment training for new researchers. Some instruments may be used after completing a [Usage Application Form].

Under the operating principles of the Institute of Translational Medicine, this research space is assigned to clinical faculty for one year; it is an experimental space where researchers directly handle specimens, reagents, and instruments.

A research space for performing analytical work using computers and data.

A dedicated office space for research faculty affiliated with the Biomedical Research Institute (BRI), providing optimal conditions for a stable research environment and collaboration.

A shared-use space for seminars, meetings, and training, equipped with a PC and a large monitor. For efficient operation, it runs on a reservation basis and is available only to resident CMI researchers.

A rest space for researchers to recharge, have meals and beverages, and communicate. A microwave and water purifier are provided.

It consists of 13 individual laboratories under the Department of Research and Experiment, where advanced precision equipment and specialized staff provide researchers with analysis services, equipment training, workshops, and more.

This office supports researchers' research activities and experiments; it allocates shared laboratories and research faculty offices and systematically manages shared equipment.

For researchers who have been allocated a shared laboratory at the Medical Research Innovation Center, we allocate and manage space for shared freezing equipment (-20℃ freezers, -80℃ ultra-low temperature freezers, and -195℃ liquid nitrogen freezers).
